Caregiver will provide non-medical tasks to clients in Dallas County and Surrounding areas. Your role as a caregiver is to help client(s) with activities of daily living such as: companionship and socializing, cooking meals and assisting with eating and drinking, errands and shopping as needed, hygiene assistance, light housekeeping, and transfer assistance. Full-time and Part-time shifts available
Caregiver Duties (Specific duties assigned at time of staffing):
Provide general attention the the non-medical needs of clients
Help assist clients with activities of daily living such as: dressing, bathing, feeding, supervising, and toileting
Provide homemaking services such as: light housekeeping, laundry, meal planning, meal preparation, and clean up
Remain in the client's presence at all times during the shift
Provide clients with laundry and linen changes
Provide a safe living environment for clients
Observes and reports any changes in the client's mental, physical, or emotional condition immediately to the supervisor
Participates in in-services and continuing education
Performs other duties as assigned
Caregiver Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Must meet or exceed minimum qualifications for background checks
Previous experience of 1 year minimum in a professional healthcare setting
Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance
Valid driver's license a Must
Excellent interpersonal skills
Able to function independently in a home setting with minimal direct supervision
Able to fulfill assignments with reliability and punctuality
Able to sit, walk, reach, kneel, and lift without restrictions
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
