I was honored to care for my Mom the last 8 years of her life. She was in a wheelchair, she was on oxygen, she was diabetic, had high blood pressure, and had a crippling disease called CMT. She had no strength in her hands, so she had to be fed, bathed, dressed, and cleaned after going to the bathroom. On many occasions, she had a pick-line due to infectious wounds that would not heal because of the diabetes. So I learned a lot from Home Health Care. I gave her insulin injections and administered her other medications. It was not easy to care for her, my family & home, plus work a full-time job, but i can honestly say I have no regrets.
