Senior caregivers are paid above minimum wage and receive the added benefit of fulfillment in knowing they have made a positive difference in a senior’s life. The national minimum wage in the U.S.A. is $7.25 per hour. States and cities with a higher minimum wage law will pay the higher wage rate.
