Becoming a Senior Caregiver: What led Rebeca to a career in caregiving?

What led you to begin a career in caregiving? I started caregiving career by taking care of famly friends, and then it evolved to working for a company since I enjoyed it so much.

How many years have you been a caregiver? I have been a caregiver for about 20 years. 

What is one of your most memorable caregiving experiences? My most memorable experience was working with a senior who confided her whole life story, which was very intersting.

What has caregiving taught you? Caregiving has taught me that health is very important and to try hard to take care of our body and health, by starting at a young age so you will not require assistance right away. 

How do you manage the stress that comes with caregiving? Being a caregiver does not stress me out. I have had some patients that weren't the friendliest people, but I undestand their pain, and what they are going through is making them that way.
