Are there laws regarding a nurse, LPN or CNA, giving a gift to a resident in a nursing home?

While there usually are very strict rules about a resident giving a gift to an employee of the assisted living or nursing home I can't find anything about an employee giving a resident a gift. If you are an employee of a nursing home, I would ask the administrator for guidance.

As always, I do think the best gift anyone can give to a resident in a nursing home is time. If an employee has a particular resident that they are fond of, I am sure they would be able to spend some time off the clock chatting with the resident. I used to love having meals with the residents of the assisted living building where I used to work. That's a gift that gives back.

You might check out the site that I've listed.Go to the stednut loan forum and do some reading. You might be able to get some ideas on what to do. If you cannot find what you are looking for, post your question. Someone may be able to give you some suggestions. I'm sorry I can't be of more help. I go to the creditboards forums every day, for credit related reading/learning. But I usually go to other forums than the stednut loan forum.
