Minimal health requirements that must be completed before you can attend clinical experience at clinical site includes a physical examination, a TB test – 2 Step PPD (REQUIRED) and Hepatitis B series or signed declination. It is the responsibility of the student to report to the instructor any change in health since the completion of Physical Examination.
Personal back ground checks are required by the clinical facilities in order for you to care for patients. If you are specifically registering for courses at Creative Care sites (Lingenfelter Center in Kingman and River Gardens in Bullhead City), the personnel office in those facilities will collect your information and run the back ground check. You need to go the personnel office of either site and submit your information prior to the start of classes. You will be notified if you are not eligible to provide patient care. If you are not eligible to provide patient care, you will have to drop or withdraw yourself from the course via the Mohave Community College system. If you are specifically registering for an on campus course at the Bullhead City, Lake Havasu City or North Mohave Campus sites you will have to go on-line to www.PreCheck.com, pay $48.50 via credit card CPR certification MUST be completed either before registration but definitely before you can attend clinical experience at clinical site.
