Additional Requirements

The Nurse Aide Training program is a 128-hour course preparing the student with entry level skills to take the Pennsylvania State Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation Examination and begin a career as a Nurse Aide. the class consists of classroom instruction, skill laboratory and clinical experience in nursing facilities in the community. Prerequisites: Criminal background check, high school diploma or GED, physical examination, 2-Step TB test, medical insurance and any other information required by the clinical facility. You must be at least 18 years old to take this class. If you have not lived in PA for 2 years, you will be required to have an FBI background check.
